- The Honors' Ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. on March 15 with a Coffee Hour presentation. We are so proud of our students' achievements, and hope to see you there!
- Please remember to send in a fresh fruit / vegetable snack with your child each day. Some students are still coming in without, and unless we provide it for them, are very hungry at the end of the day.
- The School Store is open on Friday! We will be going as a whole class this week, i/a.
Unit Five: Community Collaborations (Interpersonal Literacy)

Making connections through Motions and Interactions
Our students' interpersonal relationships are being cultivated throughout this unit as we continue with community collaborations (all sections of KG and First Grade), prepare for a Children of Charity project (our upcoming visit to Waltonwood Senior Living with our KG friends), and our day-to-day interactions. Integrated studies include:

- rules and laws in the family, classroom, school, and surrounding community
- money and exchanges between community members
- interactions and changes that bring about the states of matter
- writing realistic fiction about Strength in the Face of Challenges
- analyzing main characters and their interactions with supporting characters
